TRUONG SON MOUNTAIN

1. SPECIFIC : Truong Son Truong Son is divided into North and South Truong Son, separated by Hai Van Pass and Bach Ma mountain.
   
   Truong Son strip extending from the upper river on land bordering Laos until Nghe An extreme south central part. It includes all of the smaller mountains in the North Central and the massif, southern central highlands, divided into large bow that the convex surface facing the South China Sea.
2. North Truong Son : The children of the Truong Son mountain range north are: sequence Pu / Lady Lai Leng, John Monitor sequence, the sequence of Bach Ma.
   
   From Vinh (Nghe An) to Da Nang in width from just plain 40 km to 60 km, the narrowest place in Dong Hoi (Quang Binh), only about 37 km. The average altitude of the North Truong Son range of about 2,000 m, sometimes heights over 2,500 m. The highest peak is Phu / Pu spent Leng Lai (Vietnam-Laos border, Nghe An), 2711 m, Phu / Pu Ma (Nghe An), 2194 m, Phu / Black Pu Din (Nghe An), 1540 m, Rao Grass (Vietnam-Laos border, Ha Tinh province) in 2235 m, Dong He (Thua Thien-Hue) 1774 m, White Horse (boundary Thua Thien - Hue and Da Nang) 1444 m.
   
   Massif Ke Bang in Quang Binh province to 1178 m high, Phong Nha has been recognized as World Cultural Heritage.
   
   North Truong Son range runs from the upper Ca river to Quang Nam, the Northwest - Southeast, as Truong Son range to the south coast as closely, there are many mountains to the sea as straight horizontal stab Hengshan County (between Ha Tinh and Quang Binh), and Bach Ma (between Thua Thien - Hue and Quang Nam). Steep eastern slopes, gentle slopes to the west.
3. South Truong Son :Part from high terrain or on a volume increase Kontum Kontum or Highlands.
   
   The main mountain range and volume of the massif Nam Truong Son Ngoc Linh Mountain An Khe, Chu Dju, Tay Khanh Hoa, Chu Yang Sin. Slopes of the mountains and down steep mountain blocks down the coastal plain from Nha Trang to Quang Nam.
   
   Due to the complex terrain, so a temperature, rainfall, hydrology, soil and vegetation cover in South Truong Son varied. North Truong Son range runs along the South West also
   
   Nam Truong Son mountain range and the system blocks the mountain, high mountain ridges covered eastern Highlands, running from nose to block Dinh Ngoc Linh Mountain.
   
   The highest mountain in the Truong Son Mountains South include: Ngoc Linh (2598 m) highest mountain Truong Son and ten other than 1200 m high on the massif of the Ngoc Linh, Ngoc Krinh (2025 m), Kon Ka Kinh (1761 m), Vong Phu (2051 m), Chu Yang Sin (2405 m), Bon Non (1692 m), Chu Braian (1865 m), M'non Lanlen (1623 m), M'non Pantar (1644 m), and many other peaks.
